What we Believe

Our Father God made it all

  1. We believe Almighty God is the Creator of the heavens, the earth and all life. (Genesis 1)

The Bible is true

  1. We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, and is sufficient for determining Christian doctrine, Church procedure, and guidance for Christian life.

Because of Jesus, we can be forgiven

  1. We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God; that He suffered and died for the sins of all men, and was buried, then raised again from the dead and ascended into heaven as the only mediator between God and man. (Isaiah 9:6-7, Matthew 3:16-17, Mark 1:1)

Jesus is returning

  1. We believe Jesus Christ will soon return to earth as "King of Kings and Lord of Lords" to establish His Eternal Kingdom, and that members of the Spiritfilled Church will be raised as heirs of God into that Kingdom. (Revelation 1:5-7 &19:16, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

Everyone needs a fresh start to life

  1. We believe the Bible directive to be "born again", by repenting of sin, being baptised by full immersion in water, and receiving the Holy Spirit with the evidence of "speaking in tongues" as prerequisites for entering the Kingdom of God. (Mark 16:16-17, Acts 2:32-33 & 37-40, Acts 19:1-6, Romans 8:9)

God heals

  1. We believe in prayer for the sick, and in God's healing provision for His people through the finished work of Jesus Christ. (Isaiah 53:5, Mark 16:15 & 18-20, James 5:14-16)

God has a plan

  1. We believe in the ongoing fulfillment of Bible prophecy, and the identification of nations central to the Bible narrative amongst the world powers of the present day in fulfillment of their God-appointed destinies. (Genesis 12:1-3, 2 Samuel 7:19-13, 2 Peter 1:19-21)

God encourages His people

  1. We believe in the decent and orderly operation of the Spiritual Gifts within the Church, to reinforce the Word and will of God; to convict of sin, and to edify the Church. (1 Corinthians 14:26-33)
