I received the Holy Spirit when I was 10 years old. I could see at a young age that my parents were able to pray to God in other tongues but I was unable to. So after seeking the Lord for his Holy Spirit I spoke in other tongues - a language I had not learned. One week later I was baptised and from that day my life changed. Being a member of this fellowship, I have always received good, sound advice from fellowship members. I have also learnt how to give, and support those in need. Having the Holy Spirit, for me, has been a real comfort. I know that if I am in difficulty or distress I have a friend that sticks closer than a brother. I have seen members of my family, including myself, healed on many occasions thanks to prayer. I praise God for directing my steps and for answering my prayers.

I am looking forward to the soon return of my Lord.
