Hi, I'm Jenny Curtis. When I was 12, I started asking lots of questions about God, Jesus and the Bible. But those around me really could not answer my questions. Then one day when I went to stay with my older brother and his wife I was amazed to find out that they had recently had an experience that had changed their lives completely. They had both repented, been baptised by full immersion and received God's Holy Spirit. They knew they had this Spirit because they spoke in a language they had not learned, just as it was described in Acts 2 in the Bible. I wanted what they had, so I simply told God I wanted to do things His way and I cried out to Him with all of my innermost being. I too began to "speak in other tongues" and received an undeniable peace and knowledge that God had accepted me into His family. I was baptised 2 days later. That was nearly 36 years ago and that same God has been with me every moment of my life since then. More recently I have been privileged to witness many people having the same experience that I had and that early Christians had as they were born again, but this time it was in Vanuatu. God is pouring out His Spirit on people all over the world who will humbly turn to Him with faith and an open heart. It is so exciting to see His plan for mankind playing out in the lives of individuals. I have witnessed and heard of many amazing miracles at the hand of God over the years.
